I often find myself returning to this image. There’s such calm here and harmony in both composition and colour. I love how the green of the water is echoed in the woman’s cardigan and then even smaller - in the cigarette lighter lying on the deck of her boat. The boat is captured just as it’s about to disappear out of frame, creating suspense and the sensation of a moment frozen in time.
